FIRST MOTORS LAUNCHES HYUNDAI CAMPAIGN
TO SPONSOR EUFA'S CUP CHAMPIONSHIP 2008
Campaign
Includes Official Visits to Embassies, Clubs and Live
Entertainment at Shopping Complexes

First Motors, the exclusive and authorized agent for Hyundai
cars in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched a wide scale
promotional campaign for Hyundai Motor Company's official
sponsorship of the European Union's Football (EUFA) Association
Cup Championship 2008, held in both Switzerland in Austria in
June. The campaign comes as part of the framework of joint
business co-operation and co-ordination between Hyundai Motors
Company and First Motors, Bahrain, for the purpose focusing on
the Company's efforts in support of international social and
sports events.

In this framework, Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, the Managing Director
of First Motors, has expressed deep joy and happiness over the
launch of the promotional campaign for the official sponsorship
by Hyundai Motor Company of the EUFA Cup Championship. He
praised the effective and instrumental role played by the
Company in supporting and sponsoring all international sports
activities which receive due popular attention, thus enhancing
its economic status and pioneering position.

The activities included official visits made by the marketing
team of First Motors, led by the Company's Managing Director,
Mr. Zayed R. Alzayani, to a number of embassies of European
countries whose national teams participated in EUFA's
championship. This included visits to the Italian, Turkish,
Greek, Russian, Portuguese and German embassies, during which
the marketing team extended congratulations to their
Excellencies the Ambassadors on reaching the finals by their
national teams. The marketing team stressed the role which
Hyundai Motor Company can play in supporting different events
and sports activities on the international forums. During these
visits, the marketing team members were wearing the T-Shirts of
the national teams of participating national teams, and they
also painted Hyundai cars in the colours of the European
countries participating in the championship, creating special
atmosphere that enhanced interaction and effective marketing.
On the other hand, First Motors' Marketing Team paid visits to a
number of sports clubs in Bahrain, during which its members met
with the officials of these clubs to enlighten them on Hyundai
Motor Company's official sponsorship of EUFA's Cup Championship.
This constructive vision is adopted by the Company in supporting
international sports events.
Meanwhile, First Motors put a jumbo football decorated with the
championship logo at the entrance of the Company's showroom in
Sitra, and an event was held inviting the public to put their
signatures on the football and write mottos to enter the draws
for prizes in the form of tickets, including accommodation, to
attend some of the championship events. The ball, signed by
Bahrain's public, will be moved from its location to one of the
pitches of EUFA's Cup.
As a sign of more outreach with Bahrain's public, the Company
has also organized a number live events, featuring musical shows
by traditional bands in different shopping complexes frequented
by Bahrainis, residents and GCC visitors. To mix the general
atmosphere with that experienced by football fans, traditional
musical teams wearing the national T-Shirts of teams
participating in the championship made encouraging songs and
screams, dancing to their tunes, in a festive mood that created
entertainment, enjoyment and interaction. To the loud tunes and
repeated songs, members of musical teams and visitors of
commercial complexes performed live shows which were a source of
enthusiasm that took them to the championship atmosphere.

First Motors has spread the promotional campaign of Hyundai
Motor Company's sponsorship of EUFA's Cup by benefiting from the
audio-visual and written media to provide an all-out coverage
including radio and television, in addition to other coverage
using the local press and billboards on public roads.
On the other hand, through its marketing campaign to support
Hyundai Motor Company's official sponsorship of EUFA Cup, First
Motors, the exclusive and authorized agent for Hyundai Motors in
Bahrain, has held several live events and competitions to put
Bahrain's sports public into the event and offer prizes which
are air tickets, including accommodation. It is also providing
the opportunity to participate in draws for air tickets,
including accommodation, to attend the championship events when
buying a Hyundai car during the campaign period.
Hyundai
Motor Company, which is one of the world's six motor giants, has
earlier entered into an official sponsorship contract for a
number of the Federation Internationale de Association (FIFA),
whereby it has become a partner and an official sponsor of
international sports events and activities, in addition to a
long-term contract to sponsor different FIFA's events, which
will include the next World Cup to be held in South Africa in
2010. True to its commitments and obligations, Hyundai Motor
Company is sponsoring EUFA's Cup 2008 which is Europe's most
prestigious event and the most followed sports event by sports
fans all over the world after the World Football Cup. Due to the
importance of this championship of a world level, Hyundai Motor
Company gives utmost priority to sponsoring the event and to
marketing and promoting it at all international and local
levels.
